Baby Blues

   Love this picture. I am beginning to notice that the best pictures just happen... pictures that are forced.. look forced. And this one just turned out GREAT! She just leaned her head over our couch arm and I snapped the picture!

Re-Do!

The awesome thing about photography is that you can always go back and re-edit photos. That is exactly what I did today... I photographed the Johnson family last week and the pictures turned out awesome.. except one picture of all three of them together...

Here is the original photo un-editted:

great composition.. just really terrible coloring... (on account of no lighting equipment..)

Sooo.. I editted it and it became this photo:

Still great composition.. but I just didnt like the "haze" and the still visible orangy tint.

Sooo.. I revisited the picture today and Im really happy with the way it turned out:

So today I put my daughter in this awesome dress I found at the thrift store... these are the results of our play day!

Flower Power!

So today I took some pics of my beautiful little girl Zoe. I had these silk flowers laying around from a project that never got finished... so I layed down a white blanket and placed the flowers around her.. this is what I ended up with.

Wrapping Paper Back Drop!!

My little sister, Brittany, came over the other day to take some pictures. She stopped by Wal-Mart on the way and picked up some really cool wrapping paper for the background. I really enjoy taking photos outside... but since it's pretty cold out now, wrapping paper is a great inexpensive way to take pictures inside and they turned out really nice.
